At Azura Fleet, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance in ship management

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY

It is the policy of Azura Fleet, to provide healthy and safe working conditions and to encourage safe practices throughout all vessel operations managed by the Company, thereby promoting security of life, property and the natural environment.
Application  the Company’s Safety Management System for the safe operation of vessels and for pollution prevention in accordance with the requirements of IMO. Resolution A.741(18) The International Safety Management Code (ISM).
The Company objectives are:

  • To improve the overall efficiency of operations
  • To encourage safe practices within ship’s operations and create a safe working environment
  • To take a proactive approach and establish safeguards against all identified risks
  • To identify hazards in shipboard operations, evaluate the risks involved and decide on precautions to be taken
  • To continuously improve safety management skills of all personnel ashore and on board the vessel, including an Emergency Response Team and preparation for emergencies related both to safety and environmental protection
  •  Provide a healthy and safe working environment


Verification
By regular internal audit procedures, the effectiveness of the Safety Management System can be measured and reported back to Executive Management via Management Review Meetings.


Implementation
All employees are expected to comply with Safety and Pollution Prevention Regulations and Procedures as far as is practicable and to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves, their colleagues, the ship, its cargo and the environment.
